Ardley said they were all tested for fatigue and Enzio was a red flag, we av to respect these tests and the managements/clubs belief in this process. Enzios probably the biggest football enigma I’ve seen at Notts, when I see him live sometimes I think he totally switches off, is lethargic, then you remember so many of his goals/play being way way over this level

Maybe it's an age thing, but I find all this talk of 'fatigue' a load of bollox. These are blokes in the prime years of their physical health and they can't run around for 90 minutes twice a week without getting 'fatigued'?

It’s not from my experience only at lower league level, I was one on the fittest players, but some of my fellow teammates as much as they trained hard just couldn’t maintain it, Doyle’s a freak but their will be a few more like him going forward with the education and right management of their bodies, but primarily it’s their physical make up.

Curious. What do you think fatigue means? What do you think the club means by fatigue? What do you think a physiologist would understand by fatigue?

You may use google for some insight.

Didn't watch today so daren't comment on the game.

5 games unbeaten, 3 consecutive clean sheets, 3rd in the league - plenty to be positive about.

That was the worst attacking performance of the season at home, but we restricted them to one chance from a long throw. Kudos to the back four (Ben Turner did what he does best - got his head on the ball every time) and Enzio, who proved the difference once he came on. He was on the bench due to fatigue (not the only one who looked tired), but had a highly effective 30 minutes. And JOB probably did more in 20 minutes than Ruben in the previous 70.

Strength in depth is going to be crucial with this run of games. We need to get the likes of Thomas, McCrory, Roberts and Lacey back ASAP, but God knows what the story is with Wolfe. Not even in the squad again today. Strange one.

Finally, well done DKE - another reliable performance out of position and actually produced an excellent cross at one point with his left foot.

NA explains that one in the post match interview. Apparently he got Covid at the end of the club's Covid crisis and then he's been playing catch-up after missing 20+ days instead of 10 due to self-isolation.

Certainly from watching I wouldn't say we were poor today, yes there was some sloppy passing and tempo wasn't great but their a decent side. Defended well, but wouldn't say we were totally under the cosh that much as we definitely had the better chances, wins like this are a very good sign. Ardley as honest as always and like the fact he recognised they were struggling to move the ball as well and went more direct.
