Couple of nights ago a provider here had a freezer problem and their vaccines had to be used by 5am. Announced it on social media at 11pm and at 2am had 2,000 eligible people lined up with their sleeves rolled up. No vaccines went to waste. Social media does have some good uses after all.

I expected a great big needle like the TB one at school..in reality it takes 2 seconds like a tiny pin prick not even like having a blood sample..amazing..I had the first one nearly 2 weeks ago ...

Totally stupid having different days, but worse the distance having to travel.
Just had a phone call from my mate ( as above ), his sister-in-law had her vaccine jab at the Sheffield arena, his brother had a text message cancelling his York appointment, & sent him to Adwick-Le-Street, not far from his home in Doncaster.

Also my mate aged 69 ( 2 weeks younger than me ) contacted for a appointment for his vaccine jab, he lives on the Monkwood estate in Rawmarsh, he could pick between Montgomery Hall at Wath, Rawmarsh Health centre on Barbara's Avenue, or a place in Rotherham.
He selected Rawmarsh, appointment on Tuesday 2nd Feb, at 9am.

unreal people can travel all over the world, but moan about travelling a few miles for a life saving vaccine.

Record daily number of vaccines given yesterday. Total now 8.98 million Brits done now.
