    Next day bulldozers.
Brin it's not all about money.
Never said it was pal but your opening header is all wrong about the area and properties surrounding it.

Agree about the farmland and surrounding wildlife etc but as the population grows so does demand for building such large estates

Not so much near me but the Waverley estate on the old Orgreave site is massive with well ove 5000 homes on it. Our gp surgery at treeton simply cannot cope with the influx of new people registering with them. The new estate already has a school built on it and now they are wanting a bus terminal with it being so close to Sheffield. There’s a few shops due to open soon. Only green space I know of is brinny playing fields but the local council would never sell that.

Brin keep out of Treeton Surgery, you should use the one at Brinny. We’re getting fed up of outsiders taking up appointments..

Is it because most mortgages are out of reach to most Bramley/Sunnysiders?

Not many houses I know in Sunnyside worth upwards of £175k. You’re looking at 275- 300k
    On Woodlaithes.
    Woodlaithes is Sunnyside mate.

Roly if they did you’d probably find them hanging from the lamp posts, it’s the last piece of greenery Brinsworth has, unless you want to sell off the Brinny academy playing fields.

Remember as ka first year just how enormous Spurley Hey playing fields were off Fitzwilliam Road. They stretched from the current fire station all the way across to where the Foljambe pub use to stand and all the way to the end of Fitzy Road joining Herringthorpe Valley Road. The council sold loads of the land off and told those in charge at Spurley Hey to make do with the bit of land at the back of the old annexe asbestos roofed classrooms.
