BT you should really check before posting.

On 30 June 2014, according to the Yesha Council, 382,031 Israeli citizens lived in the 121 officially recognised Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

Thousands of Jewish settlers and their supporters have staged a rally in Jerusalem in protest at a curb on settlement building in the West Bank.

"We believe we have a right as Jews to settle where we are. To say there's going to be a freeze based on religion - that a Muslim can build and a Jew can't - is not something we expect in this day and age."

BT Do you go to church ,it may hep you. Yesterday and last night rockets were being fired every few secs, then every 5 mins

But this morning they fired about 6 am then the next at 10 am - 4 hours. What's happening ? Maybe they went to sleep? Or ,they have less rocket launches? Then they could have gone into the Mosque, what has happened? Perhaps watching some football game on TV?

Some 2,900 rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip towards Israel since the beginning of the operation dubbed by the military as “Guardians of the Walls,” of which some 450 fell inside the enclave.
The Iron Dome intercepted some 1,150 rockets.

IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Hidai Zilberman deflected criticism of the military's actions in the Gaza Strip on Sunday and particularly the bombing of a building with media offices on Saturday.

“I want to see what would happen if one rocket was fired on Washington. They are firing salvos toward civilian populations,” Zilberman said when asked about the strike on the building that was home to the Associated Press and Al Jazeera offices in Gaza. “We are in the middle of an operation. If Hamas and PIJ think they can hide behind the media, their buildings are not something they can hide behind.”

It's now pretty obvious Israeli Jews and Israeli Arabs cannot reconcile any sort of peace initiative.

Jerusalem is a problem that cannot be fixed until the religious artefacts are all flattened.

Hamas are running a mafia style operation from Gaza and the Israelis are too frightened of world opinion to take them out.

eBay have some very good tin hats on offer at present Balan. Should I send you a couple over?

Hamas deliberately take a knife to a gun fight sinkov. Let's stop beating about the bush here?

They provoke the IDF and then cry foul when all hell is unleashed.

The only winners unfortunately are the undertakers.

War, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing.

It's no good bleating on about irreverence to Jews and anti-Semitism sinkov, children are dying in Gaza and it must be condemned.

I wish we could all move on from this topic, but it simply will not go away.

The present day bombing of Gaza reminds me of Warsaw in WW2, when the Nazis attempted to eliminate the Jews, and if I remember rightly the beleaguered Jews fought back. Quite right too, people must rise up to fight oppression.

"A band of pro-Palestinian activists who drove in convoy through North London chanting anti-Semitic slurs has been condemned by the Prime Minister and numerous Cabinet ministers.

Scotland Yard has launched an "urgent" investigation into the incident, which appeared to target areas of the capital with large Jewish populations, and has made four arrests. "

Anti-Semitism, alive and well in the UK. Doesn't take much for them to crawl out from under their stones.

FFS sinkov behave. These are Muslim youths. Word to note here is Muslim.

Thankfully the Met police have done their job and these eejits are in custody. So are another 27 Muslims who have been charged with rape over a 7 year period perpetrated on a vulnerable white girl in Calderdale.

The continued Israelis' bombing of Muslims to hell and back in Gaza is fuelling a lot of hate. The snowflakes keep on and on about anti-Semitism in this country while meanwhile turning a blind eye to domestic atrocities by Muslim speedo gangs.

    Go figure.

The indiscriminate firing of thousands of missiles into Israel by Hamas is resulting in the continued Israeli bombing. Now that shouldn't take much figuring out, but it seems way beyond the capacity of Lefties.

Netanyahu is being universally condemned for disproportionate bombing, but not in Clitheroe it seems.

Oh dear, you Lefties still don't get it do you. There is nothing 'disproportionate' about the Israeli bombing. They are fighting a war, against a terrorist organisation which has the capacity to fire missiles into Israel in their thousands. They have decided that a ceasefire agreed with Hamas is pointless, it will hold on the Hamas side just long enough for them to re-arm, re-group and recommence the missile bombardment, so the Israelis will continue military operations until they have, as much as they possibly can, reduced the military threat of Hamas. In this regard nothing the IDF does is 'disproportionate', it is not a token response, as Hamas hoped it would be, it is not meant to deter the firing of rockets into Israel on a temporary basis, it is meant to destroy, as far as is possible, the Hamas war machine, and as such the Israeli response is entirely proportionate.

Sometimes BT, you really disappoint me, for a wily, old political operator, you really seem out of touch with what's actually happening in the Middle East. Get your act together mon ami, instead of getting carried away with all the tedious Lefty virtue-signalling, hand-wringing and bedwetting, open your eyes and check out what's really happening............and why.
