Wrexham only managed a draw too, early days but huge results in our favour

To be fair, all teams are shipping goals at the moment. I wouldn't be too worried about the fact we conceded 2. It's the 3 points to keep in touch with the leading lack that is most important.

    I'm happy!

Burch on now..... "Made far too hard work of it. Changed system at HT took a defender off. So much space to exploit. Took us 5/10 mins to get in rhythm of new system... then opened them up. Aldershot needed to win because they've had three losses. Not playing anywhere close to our best. Lads that came on added something to win the game."

4 of 10 attendances today over 5,000 - Southend best, then Notts, Chesterfield, Grimsby
All other 6 attendances well below 2000 - really unbalanced league this year

Can't disagree with any of that, IB always seems to see/analyse the game the same way the majority of us seem to do based on his post match comments which is pleasing, he's quick to identify where he wants the team to improve.

Yeah those are good comments. Very pleased the system isn't so precious and that he'll drop it when he needs to

If we keep winning games 3-2, the fans will be happy. Lose them 3-2 and they won’t be. We’re clearly still finding our feet and trying to find a way of fitting Ruben and Cal into the team without making us vulnerable in defence.

No 100% records now and teams are clearly going to be taking points off each other at the top of the table. We just need to keep picking up the points and hopefully we’ll start clicking soon.

To his credit IB is quick to make changes both tactically and to personal if he feels the need to which is a luxery we've been rarely afforded with in previous managers of the last few years.
