Delicious wee dinked Cross from Watt. Matched by a great finish from Nicky Clark.

Agree Terry. We REALLY needed that.

Watt has that quality - when he gets the ball he wants to do something

When he picked up ball for cross could tell he wanted to score or create a goal - defences sense that too. Fantastic cross and credit to Nicky Clark for the two goals.

Lots we still need to improve but well done to the players

    COME ON UNITED !!!!

Feel we got outta jail with that one....we struggled with the basics. I am still hoping for a better partner for Watt before this window slams shut. A Jon Daly type would suit me fine...and a Barry Robson style midfielder. Make it happen Tony!

That feels like a huge win. I just hope at the end of the season we look back at this as the big result that it feels like. I hope it marks some sort of turning point for us. I realise that will be difficult as our next game is at Parkhead but at least we now know that we can win a game.

Also, regarding my "goosed" comment at 1-0 down - as daft as it sounds, I actually posted because I wanted to come back on later to admit that I was wrong. Although it was based on the earlier discussion about our inability to win, or even draw if we lose the first goal and our lack of goals in general.

Correct me if I'm wrong but did we actually finally get a penalty too? Well done Nicky Clark btw

Bang on Weegie, a great comeback win that the old Terrors would have been proud of. We dug in, rolled up the sleeves and got it done.
Really pleased for Nicky because he gets some stick from fans, me included, but as you say an impact sub partnering a proper CF and there you see what he's capable of.

As you say we struggled with the basics for more than 70 minutes. But a win's a win.

Without Tony Watt's direct play we don't win that match imo. That's why his goal to game ratio isn't too important.

That could be a massive 3 pts for us. I am also delighted for Calum Butcher. Harkes, Fuchs and Pawlett need to sort themselves out....they are decent enough players at this level but are making far too many mistakes. Maybe some of the lads are still struggling with the after effects from covid? I just hope that this win is used to galvanise the team and gets a bit of self belief back into them....but most importantly..that is a massive 3 pts!
