Something like one win in nine games before it was stopped.
I will continue to buy a season ticket but phuck me this season hasn't needed much of an excuse for me to miss some games.my eyes are bleeding watching some of the schit show on offer.
    In my opinion anyway.
I also thought we would get relegated at the start of the season so if we finish 10th then I canna really grumble.🙄

Was pretty funny and made me hae a wee smirk. Unfortunately, we seem to have young managers in the same mindset!! Trying to copy Pep's style of playing it out or tippy tappy back passes etc etc. We're trying to do similar stuff with players that have about 10% of the talent. Madness, play to your strengths and keep it simple.
Most of the folk I sit next to have the same mindset, I often join them in pointing to the heavens when yer man announces McNulty is in the starting line up

I'd much rather we played out from the back tbh. Saturday was a great example of why it's done. Time & time again when Benji went long, the ball just came straight back at us. As much as we may have players with 10% of Man City's talent, Clark and McNulty simply aren't boys who are going to win 50 yard punts up the park against big defenders and we're awful at picking up second balls. Where it gets stupid is how Hearts were trying to play it at times. Two boys at both sides of the 6 yard box and the two opposite attackers standing on the edge of the 18 yard box waiting to charge. There's times to do it and times not to do it but if the space is there to build from the back, I'd always prefer we did.

That's it, by not having any pace in the side or height/strength up top we've almost boxed ourselves in to how we can play. What exactly is your playing to your strengths when you have a team with no pace and slow midgets up top. It's even more marked the last 20-25 minsw as tiredness sets in, and the passes get less accurate and more direct the last 20-25 mins and you end up with the opposition able to push forward in number with impunity knowing their is next to no chance of being picked off on the break.

I wish Benji was capable of throwing a ball out like that, defence into attack with pinpoint accuracy. Gordons vision got them that goal. I cant remember Benji doing anything quickly after receiving the ball. He likes to take his time, and we lose any possibility of suprise. Most of the time it's quite good to calm things down but sometimes theres a quick move to be made that would be a better outlet but he either doesn't see if, or isn't capable of reaching them. His kicking is not accurate but i cant recall him making many throws out so i can't commment or his skills there.

If we are to build from the back its best that he doesnt hold onto the ball so long the opposition have time to push their forward onto our defenders, just under pressure near our own goal.

I don't think Benji deserves any criticism this season TBH.
