I'm struggling to keep track at the moment, players coming and going, or not coming or going, so am I right in thinking that so far, with the new season just over three weeks away, we've signed two young lads from D1 and two young lads from City, and that's it ?

Hardly a brave new world so far is it, seems to me very much like the old Dyche days when we had no money, not many in, not many out. I don't suppose it's too surprising, we might have new owners, but we still don't have any money. Plus ça change.

The window has almost two months to run yet mon ami. The way Vinny is going, that could be another dozen in and at least another eight going out.

I don't think Vinny will let himself be bossed by Pace like the way Dyche did with Garlick. It's now obvious to Stan's blind man on a galloping horse that the "plan" is to reduce the weekly wage bill and end up with about £40 million in the Dry Powder Room.

Brownhill, Collins, McNeil and Cornet will all be sold to make those ends meet. We have just sold our number one and two goalkeepers for a total sum of £13,000,000 and reduced the weekly wage by £70,000 - it's not rocket science is it mon ami?

You need to have a word with Vinny-all those empty outward journeys to pick up players would be optimised if you took the outbound players on the outward journeys-he needs to increase efficiency and not make you and your terriers rich.Every little counts when you are skint. All this needless expenditure needs reigning in.At this rate the only thing making a profit at Gawthorpe will be the coffeee machine.

It's not the window we need to be worrying about, it's the upcoming league games, with the season being condensed, we have to complete a quarter of our league programmme by September 17, which date is just over two months away, and no one, not even Vincent, has a fecking clue what the team is going to be.

It is impossible for you to speculate on what Vinny does or does not know mon ami.

Calm down, chill out and let time and nature take their course.

It is not speculation mon ami, it's a fact, Vinni might have ambitions and plans, but at this stage he simply CANNOT KNOW what his team will be. He might have an idea of what he would like it to be, but he doesn't know what it will be, at this stage he can't know.

Let time and nature take their course, that's precisely the problem, they will, and so much to do, so little time. In just over three weeks we kick off, then the games come thick and fast, six weeks later a quarter of the season gone. No time for bedding in, no time to experiment, straight into the serious stuff and I can't see how we are going to be ready for it. Not Vincent's fault, it is what it is, but he's been dealt a bum hand to start his Burnley career, let's hope he plays it well, or we could be in a relegation battle before the summer's over.

Before the start of last season I hoped that there would be at least three teams worse than us, but it proved that there was not so we start this season in the championship.

My hope for this season is that there is only one team better than us, it may be a forlorn hope, however I am hoping that Vincent Kompany can pull something out of the bag that we were not expecting.

Glad to see the back of Weghorst, and hopefully he will not return. We do need to keep some of the experienced premier league player, Taylor, Collins, Roberts. I would not be to bothered to see McNeil leave if we got the right price for him.

Would like to see us boost our midfield and strikers as yet again these are areas we should have boosted over the last two seasons.

While I have to agree with Sinkov that the board were not financially supportive of the first team, I have to say that the manager and players must take responsibility for some diabolical performances on the pitch.

Kompany played a 4-2-2-2 at Anderlecht. Quite offensive. Believe he will try the same here. Wouldn’t try to predict the first lineup
