Think some questions needs to be ask to owners tbh

Looks like they’ve been told to take pictures down.
The ones I saw was appalling, doesn’t look like it’s been watered at all
The relationship between the two have been strained to say the least over the last few years…this is just the latest episode…having to play at Northampton and Birmingham the results… seems it’s just a soured relationship that needs ending…

Reading that it looks like they have been seriously let down by the owners of the stadium.

On the other hand, if they(Coventry) expected a new pitch for this season when did they notice that it hadn't happened? Couldn't they have informed the EFL that it was a pile of poo? Did they ask for a couple of away games to start with?

Sheff Utd asked for an away game start and were given it to prepare the pitch of any damage after the Euro's. RUFC also asked but were refused. Good job we got a 5 star rating from UEFA then, which is 1 down from Wembley.

It's a total balls up, less already moved from a Saturday fixture, people changed plans to accommodate Sunday game and now cancelled less than 24 hours before due to circumstances that have been there for days. Now we're looking at a midweek fixture, hopefully people can get there transport money back.
Surely this could have been forseen and avoided or are Rotherham Council running the show at Coventry.

Just arrived in Coventry, nice sunny day, perfect really.

Got this niggling doubt in back of my mind that somethings not quite right.

    I'm sure it'll be fine 😆

Joking aside the announcement was too late for me to cancel hotel, needed to do that Friday I think. Couldn't cancel train tickets either.
It seems like this fixture was jinxed from the start for me.

I'd always planned to stay over anyhow as I've wanted to visit Cov for a while.
So I was happy to still come particularly as it was such a hassle to get rhe time off.
Just a pity there's no Millers game to watch

Hopefully I'll still be able to do the rearranged fixture.
It would be perfect if gru's magic eye is up to scratch as I'm already booked off for the week he mentioned.

But their footballing prowess IS comedic
