Very frustrating as we were looking in control at the stage of red card, I wouldn't be too harsh on harkes, it was just one of those instinctive go for the ball in a split second. Now I've calmed down from disappointed, my overall assessment underwhelming/work in progress.

Thought Fletcher before goal won couple of headers he was putting into areas where utd players should have been arriving. Sibbald had some decent moments. Keeper small but looks confident and has a bit of a swagger. Middleton, don't know if just me, he looked knackered after about 25 mins? When he went up top, and we were launching it, we were as well playing with 9, he was never going to win a header and didn't win too many sprints either.

Biggest disappointment was when we had control game first 20-25 mins of second half, we never got a shot on goal from open play, after the red we ceased becoming any threat.

Harkes made an erse of it today, without a doubt! That said JR should have put in a midfielder rather than a 3rd CB, (why do managers do that?) no surprise we had all 3 CBs within a metre of each other and none of them picking up Taylor. When down to 10 our organisation should have been better and we should be able to defend a corner…we did not!

Lots to like today, all things considered a good point away on plastic with new manager, new players, 7/10.

I keep saying that i do see something in Harkes, and while i have not seen anything from today, what you describe about a fancy turn then loose the ball is something he is guilty of all too often! Hope he takes his medicine on this or its gonna be a long hard season picking splinters oot his erse!

Thanks for all the replies to my earlier question and great to see Levitt picking up where he left off.

Levitt was OK in the 1st half actually but nothing special, Sibbald was by far our best midfielder in the 1st half, was really impressed by him but fell away a wee bit in the 2nd half but still solid.

There will be teams that go to Killie on that 5hite pitch and come away with fk all but I'm a big bit gutted we never got the 3 points today as we 100% merited them....that wee American fkr better make up for letting his team and fans down the day😡.....and again what a support 👏👏👏.....so loud it almost made me forget that fkn Killie drum😫🙈

Thought JR was measured and intriguing in his post match comments. And from what I’m hearing another midfielder inbound and Harkes may have seen his last automatic start

And if you look back I’m a Harkes supporter and I think today showed he’s inches off the pace, missed the header, got peeved and booked, then was mistimed in the tackle and got booked again: cost us the game

Nonetheless I like this team and manager, a good point today, we’re catching up with each other and Thursday will be a sell out

    Happy daze ⚽️

I have to say at the match I thought the 2nd yellow was harsh but assumed he must have lunged and caught the killie guy above the ankle or something, having seen the rerun extremely harsh yellow. There were no other bad tackles by harkes, ref could easy have let that one go, given him a verbal last warning.

It was a harsh booking but the first was just pure stupidity.

I don't really see how he got booked at all for the first one though, the ball was in the air and out of the keepers mitts when he kicked it. That said, the goal was down to poor defending at a corner which could have happened regardless of whether he was on the pitch or not.
