I still remember Alan Partridge buying a jersey fae Marie’s clubby book, and George trying it on with a cushion shoved up it, doing an uncanny impersonation of the amply-girthed IT geek/bungalow occupant.

There is a bit in one of this weeks episodes where the clubby book was mentioned. Someone hadn't been paying their weekly money so wasn't allowed any more stuff.

I was in a pub in Windsor, good few years back, her and that boy Thewlis (helluva size of a boy) were in, this is when she was stepping out with him.
She's tiny, canna be much over 5 feet.
Shevwas dressed a bit "student chic", big long charity shop looking coat, a weird kinda Biggles flying hat but wool, but was very comely.
We never actually spoke but our eyes locked occasionally.
A look that said "If I wasn't with this big galloot I would transport you to previously unimagined levels of ecstacy".
