Apart from the goals, two things stood out to me.

One was Stone's distribution, where most of his goal kicks seemed to go out for a throw-in and his clearences went straight down the pitch to an enemy defender. It was a lottery where it went.

The other was seeing that Camaron is no left-sided midfielder. FGR's first two goals came from where he should have cut them out.

I could see the point of the subs made, we needed more stability in midfield but the player coming off for TAR should have been Camaron. TAR should have started the game, his presence was felt immediately he came on.

I think todays second half will just reaffirm to the players that the moment we get sloppy, we will be punished.
In truth, I don’t really care. We won and played some incredible football at times.
We’re not going to have it all our own way, we’re going to have off days and players are going to make mistakes. If we still come away with 3 points, I forgive it all.
One growing issue I have is when JOB comes on. I don’t know if he’s trying to make a big impact but at a time in the game that we need to take the sting out, he makes bad choices and gives the ball away or gets caught in possession.

Stone’s long range kicking was dogsh!t against Salford, i like him as a keeper, but his distribution has been all over the place the last couple of games. Us having bad spells in games nearly always start with or contain a Cameron ricket.

Thank god we have the best attacking players in this league by an absolute mile.

Still scratching my head about what the penalty was given for?
It looked like Rawlo tripped their forward? The give away was not one Notts player argued or complained to the ref.

Did he though, looked minimal contact and I think LW has drilled them not to argue back now after them amount of bookings

I honestly think they're as bad as each other, you couldn't get a fag paper between them ability wise, IMHAHO.

I'd make that 3 games... turning the ball over, exchanging our possession of the ball to theirs is the definition of bad distribution

Yep, even a Stags fan would have had to use their other hand for the last goal.

The big problem was as soon as the 2nd half kicked off they went 3 up top and pressed us far more aggressively so Stone had to kick long virtually every time and until TAR came on McGoldrick is the only outlet who has a chance of winning it in the air first ball(we have a smaller side than last season) so it’s certainly not just Stone’s fault although I would like to see dinks over the midfield to Macca or Didzy’s feet
