After all these years it is still so deflating when we lose a crunch game.

BCnotts18 - are you for real? "Absolutely ****ing disgrace", No. Both teams were competitive, but a deflected shot took the game away from Notts. Did Notts County deserve to win, probably not, but there is no need for the over-emotional types to start hyper-ventilating.

Morecambe going from strength to strength and another win for MKD.
10 league wins on the bounce for Stockport, which is the most we've ever done.

    Max, PPG, projected table
    1. Stockport Co - 125 __ 2.19 __ 101
    2. Mansfield T. - 122 __ 1.93 __ 89
    3. Morecambe - 123 __ 1.93 __ 89
    4. Notts County - 120 __ 1.88 __ 86
    5. Wrexham - 120 __ 1.88 __ 86
    6. Crewe Alex. - 119 __ 1.81 __ 83
Surprised we are ahead of the Munto season - the munto players throughout the team were much better than todays team

Definitely, a big miss for sure. And it really tells in games like this.

Add Bostock for us and take away the Arsenal keeper for them and I think it would be us winning that one 2-0

Certainly not a disgrace - but just that sinking feeling when you realise we are not good enough against the top teams

Well, I think most of us predicted or said they would be happy to consolidate this season and that’s still my position, anything more is a bonus. To move forward I think we need a keeper (ironically I think like Wrexham’s keeper) along with a make over in the defence. The talk of this guy coming from a part time club in Ireland is not what I think we need, proven reliability and quality at this level I think is what’s needed to move forward.

Tbh I’d be happy for a mid table finish and add to the squad wisely like Mansfield have last few seasons when building their squad.
Honestly think they’re the team to beat this season half there lot out injured and still the squad depth is immense.
We need to add in January and add wisely I mean JOB being the best replacement we have for Bostock is absolute criminal, Slocombe starting in this league absolute criminal shows what depth we have which is absolutely zero when your naming Under 18 players on the bench every game just to make the numbers up it’s hideous.
We could of won that today with the amount of chances we had first half simple as but we go again next game it is what it is.

Even game, spawny deflected first goal for them. McGoldrick has a shot saved he should be scoring and they get a second from a long ball where we misjudge the bounce.

O'Brien didn't do any worse or better than O'Connor for them.

Langstaff needs to be burying that free header in the first half.

Agree, very annoying but don't feel like I did after Mansfield. We'll get there mate.

    Prob this^^^

1st half was a cagey affair between 2 evenly matched teams. 2nd half Wrexham were the better team and tho their 1st goal was a bit fluky and their 2nd was a Notts freebie special, they deserved the points more than we did. Tho we drew a couple of half decent saves from their keeper, did we honestly ever look like scoring today? That would be a No. We just weren't "at it" as we normally are attacking wise. Whether that be them having decent defenders or us being a bit off, who knows.
