He is competing with Rodon and Struijk primarily - both very talented imo - and then backing Struijk up he has Ampadu - so I reckon he just has to wait his opportunity.As you have said, the bigger issue is Farkes reluctance to use his subs EVEN when we are home and hosed - and that applies to every position on the pitch.

Have enjoyed both Hope and Totty putting their opinions across...even though differing. Done rationally and with respect for each others views, and not demanding that theirs must be right. Not the same with all contributors sadly....

A lively discussion on a homegrown talent is good stuff. Many of us know that if this was a decade earlier He'd have been sold for a million or so and this discussion would never have occurred. Glad we are in the place where we don't automatically sell the first time someone comes waving money around. Easy to forget how much better things are than just a decade ago.

I think quite a few of us believe he's good enough to be given a shot. However, the coach doesn't feel the same. it's his job on the line so I do understand he's the boss on this issue.

There is a shocking parallel with what Farke did to another player at Norwich - Todd Cantwell which almost resulted in Todd quitting football. Virtually the same criticisms which came out of nowhere.
