Is it going to be available for private hire - weddings, corporate events etc?
Yes it's going to be for hire for private events

I may have missed this but will it be available to supporters, home or away when forest are at home, could be a good earner potentially.

I think the intention is for it to be the designated 'away' bar for Forest games, much as the MLSB is.

I couldn't get tickets for the semi final at the Nest. Any suggestions for next best place to watch it? Possibly with decent beer and food, good atmosphere but no flying drinks when we score?

the bros or whoever came up with the Nest timed it to perfection! And if England make the Euro finals (big IF!), it will be another big payday and further establish the Nesta as a venue for big screen events. Are Notts becoming a 'lucky' club?

I was at The Nest for the other night and the atmosphere was excellent. We had a table and used the table service, never again. It took over half an hour yet the bar was empty so told by some that joined us a few minutes later. Will buy from the bar next time. The music it just at that level so you can't talk so as to drink more beer.

At £6.50 a pint there was no beer throwing from me

Yeah it's proving a great business decision for sure. I clicked on the link to buy tickets 2 mins after getting the mail and it didn't say sold out but gave me zero areas to select (I think that's where I would've selected sitting or standing). Clicked again yesterday and it said sold out. That's pretty impressive considering the capacity (600 people?)

So great for Notts but problem for me is I am coming back to Nottingham on Tuesday and Wednesday with Italian girlfriend who has become a Notts fan and had set her heart on watching the match at the Nest. Last time we were there I promised her great atmosphere for the final day of an Ashes test and there was me and one other guy watching it in a corner in what used to be Walkabout bar. There were more people watching Formula One on the big screen! She got bored and went shopping, which is fair enough.

So I need to come up with the goods this time. I suppose the most important thing is atmosphere. Decent food and beer and no flying drinks is just a bonus for me. She just wants to see England fans in their natural habitat. Any suggestions appreciated!
