Well that's good we all reading off same page and willing to let manager build his team in time it takes him.Hopefully he gets some decent signings in shortly and gets his best team playing his way we wont win this league but think we will stay up.Hopefully he can then build on that

I'll bet you MM is as frustrated as we are with the lack of new signings. It clear as day we need to strengthen but we need to get the right players in and I'm willing to be patient for that to happen.

Guilty as charged, but not apologising for saying what imo was right at the time.
I like to think we've had healthy debates unlike some Deejits who goad regardless of their own team's results

Regarding transfers, guys voicing their concerns over us only having made only two signings over the whole summer so far is fully merited imo. Yes there have been extraordinary circumstances involved, but we are miles behind any team in the league with regards signings when in all honesty, we're the team that should be doing the most strengthening given we effectively have a Championship squad. We've got less than 4 weeks to get signings in the door.
    bang on

no need to apologise, this is what keeps the forums alive, being a mod is irrelevant though.

Mickey Mellon has shown enough that given the right players he could be Wee Jum mk II. We had a good start to the season with Mickey getting the best+ out of our depleted Championship squad. These guys were playing for the jersey, playing above themselves and their grit and determination was infectious even in defeat.

However, you can only piss against the wind for so long with our critically ineffective final third play before the confidence of the troops starts to wane. The Killie game may have been the start of that and who knows what the weekend will being. We were riding high in the league and are now heading south to an area that will be hard to get out of. If we don't get quality in soon to boost our midfield and attack we will find ourselves fighting against a magnetic pull towards the Championship again.
