Except he didn't other than let the scientists get on with it, doubt he even had a part in approving the purchase, about the only thing he has done is leave this to the experts, the vaccine developers and NHS and provide money as required, not exactly world beating leadership!

Plus of course, we are number one at the moment but have only given one dose.

He seems reluctant to give Johnson and his government any credit here.

Not wrong though is he? Sometimes providing the finance and supporting the experts is the best we can expect from Government. Still, as I say, Swale can look after himself and it’s not my role to speak for him.

P.S. I wonder, Parky, if you, like me, waited for your GP practice to get in touch rather than being more ‘proactive’ and being offered an alternative venue. I think I only know one other person up here who went down the GP route...all the others went the ‘short circuit’ way and were given a second date at the time.

He doesn't like Johnson or the Tories. I get that and it is his right to feel that way.
I have asked him for an alternative before and got no where with that. I even told him to stand, seeing as he is so knowledgable.
All he does is lash out. He sounds like the far left we have here, or the democrats in the US.
    moan/criticise/scream with no ideas.

Talking of which, now Trumps gone, what's changed?
Absolutely nothing apart from 2 failed impeachment attempts and BLM slagging Biden off for deserting them.
Old Joe has gone very quiet since.
Listening to Starmer today, the same feeling is occurring here.
Our government is ****, but so is the opposition and no one has any ideas how to replace it.

Hmmm...so in the month since Biden took charge he’s meant to have made a difference, but in the two months since Brexit began it’s far too early to judge. Logical.

Only joshing fellas. The new "get out of jail free" card
Except my joshing is genuinely joshing. Apart from the thing about Ireland genuinely asking for Boris’ help. I’m surprised Swale hasn’t been all across that since I mentioned it, in fact he’s gone quiet so mebbee he is.

Yes, it's so simple that every country has done the same thing or haven't they, or are you trying to say that the leaders of every other country have prevented their scientists and vaccine developers from getting on with it by refusing to provide the money?

I it's not exactly world beating leadership, so why have so many world leaders failed?
