Just out of interest how do you define "backing the manager?"
You comment fairly regularly about what you consider to be of a lack of support from TS so presumably you have a clear view of what that support should be.
I think we should be told 🤔.

Second tier football..and if you call free transfers and offering peanuts to players that may keep the club in the division(that choose to go elsewhere for said reasons) "backing" the manager, then I agree there's no backing whatsoever...of course you have to cut your cloth accordingly but you also have to take a risk now and again.the amount of footballers the club has lost out on over the past few years through a few extra pounds is nonsense..TS saved the club, which we should never forget, but unfortunately while he still has control of the club we are never going to go progress any further..its a embarrassing as a second tier club to constantly pick up scraps no other club wants

Kevin very well put but, we are who we are and unless TS allows further investment into the club, then all we can expect is the norm of being a yo-yo club. It’s all well and good heaping praise on TS and rightfully so for his efforts but, investment is required to progress and it appears he ain’t letting anyone else onboard.

Even an extra 100 pounds on season tickets would generate less than a million. That gets you about 2 x 8K/ week players with NI, agents etc

The trouble being a yo-yo club is that sooner or later the string on the yo-yo breaks. It usually breaks on the way down. So we will probably end up being stuck in League 1.

Agree with most of that Kevin.Warney is looking so frustrated and when he sees his mate Nathan down at Luton able to have the funds he needs to strenghthen the squad.I feel for him.Luton have smaller crowds and smaller revenue through hospitality than us but they invest to stay up because it makes sense. We all appreciate what has been done but we need to be more ambititious if we are to maintain our position.Nobody is saying we should be paying millions but in order to attract the players Warney has identified we have to lift the current wage structure.

Don't know why we don't look at players from different countries like Sweden, Switzerland places like that for example I'm sure they'll be some decent strikers in other countries just as good but also cheaper.

Luton have done well for a similar size club (their attendances were about 500 more than ours last season).

One thing they do have is a Transfer Club, which accepts donations to fund player signings.

Would Millers fans be up for that?

Maybe, if there was chance to have a fans representative on the " selection committee "

I nominate gru for the committee, he can spot a player without seeing them even kick a ball
