The way the voting for the Scottish Parliament goes, it’s amazing they didn’t do this years ago.

Spot the tories trying to make a coalition with Labour and the Liberals.

    1-SNP
    2- Alba

That’s the way to gain independence, vote for whoever you want after it.

If you think Sturgeon is a p’oof loving weegie bitch, still vote SNP first.
If you think Salmond is a fat greasy jambo b’astard, still vote Alba second.

Unless, of course, you want to spend the rest of your like being governed by the tories.
In that case, on you go, do what you want.

I see they’ve leaked the data from all the soup slurping yahoos that signed up to it.

We were on course for a pro independence majority with referendum anyway, before that fat @rsehole got his ego involved.

Whether you like Salmond or not, the Tories and the British lovers will be dreading him being back in action. A real political heavyweight who they actually fear. The quicker Salmond is up on stage pulling them apart the better it will be for us who want independence. Sturgeon is the Derek McInnes of politics....she is on a downward spiral, not be trusted and has lost the party dressing room (so to speak). She should have done us all a favour and stepped aside and let someone else reinvigorate the SNP. People go on about the ego of Alex Salmond....her ego is losing voters and party members.

Let someone else reinvigorate the SNP? Like who? Kenny MacAskill or Neale Hanvey?

    You think so?

With the media in full anti Sturgeon propaganda mode?
With Boris personally saving lives with the English vaccine?

I’d have liked to think so but I have my doubts.

    This way it’s guaranteed.

I’ll vote for Sturgeon first if you vote for Salmond second.
That way we both get what we want.

I'm in full on conspiracy theory mode here but all this does beg the question - has this been the masterplan from the get go?

Sturgeon seems to have gained popularity surviving the vote of no confidence. The tories look ridiculous for trying to pressure her out. Salmond has been acquitted of everything that was thrown at him and emerged as leader of a new party, pinching a few SNP members in the process. Although his overall personal popularity has took a bashing.

The tories are running scared, Labour aren't sure what to do, the greens are a bit stuck in limbo and independence looks to have taken a step closer. Not a bad state of affairs considering where we were a few months ago.

Do you not think the timing of this Alba party announcement is not just a little bit suspicious and who is bank rolling it? I know Salmond won some money for his court case, but still wouldn't be enough. Not cheap running a political party.

We need one party only to get independence and this Alba Party can split the vote and possibly lead us down the route of coalition government, which we don't want, when a clear majority can swing another referendum with the right amount of pressure applied.

I think the SNP will lose power at the May elections and will be a Tory/lib dem coalition, which may well see many of us get on our jet skis over the north sea and apply for asylum in the EU.

Really hope I am wrong though.
