    HAHA.

I heard all the usual suspects being interviewed over the last few days before it started, to a man all predicted a 3-0 whitewash.

    The arrogance was astounding.

Hmm, the usual suspects have Engerland winning this already.

I'm happy for them to have their day in the sun pumping a weak Aussie side only to get Battered by the Kiwis at the weekend in the final

Still a bit to go but England were excellent in the field.

124/0. 100 to win in 32 overs. Bairstow's hurt his ankle, it seems. He warmed up in front of us at Headingley v Sri Lanka. He's a well-built loon. Muscles on his spit by the look of him. And a ginge.

    EIGHT wicket victory.

Probably by 7.9 if you sandpaper it down a bit.

    **** off Warner. GIRFUY.

TBF, England have played hard. Getting beat 3 out of 7 basically meant every game from then on was a knockout cup tie. To have then beat India, NZ, Australia in a row under pressure is pretty good.

To me, it is mostly down to the return of Jason Roy from injury.

Roy’s recovery has been a major factor. He’s talismanic, and even his occasional mis-hits are performed with such power that he gets away with it.

The bowling, though, in the last three ***** games has been world class, yesterday in ripping the heart out of the top order (fuuck YOU, Warner), and in limiting the potential for India’s classy batsmen to post a big total.

Sunday will be tough, but I think England will see it through. And it’s on cooncil TV. I should be grateful to Sky for this concession, but they, and their sleazy, politically-interfering owners can stop a full-powered Ben Stokes drive ‘amidships’ at short leg as far as I’m concerned.

EDIT: no idea why ***** has been censored. ‘V I T A L’ isna a tw@tting b@starding fuucker of a profanity these days, is it?

Still not convinced this is the right place to discuss the one day game.
