It'll be Dearne Valley Industrial Estate Animal--cheap land sites to rent in BFC's name (MIster Lee no buy--better for quick exit and leaving debts in BFC's name)

    Roads already built

Mister Lee use financial connections to raise 100% mortgage in BFC's name (Mister Lee build flatpack, soulless stadium. Mister Lee no spend own money. Mortgage in name of BFC so when Mister Lee go the debt is BFC's responsibility)

BFC fecked. Mister Lee make much money from sale of Oakwell site 31 acres.

Venture capitalism at it's finest. Mister Lee good venture capitalist.

Joking apart SB , Mr Lee is the only show in town .

Let's say this takeover doesn't happen and Mr Lee walks away , then what ?

Where do we go from there ?

A consortium of Gally and the rest of the BBS cronies running BFC on our behalf ?

It's very simple SB and everyone has the right and opinion to go with what they believe is right .

Stick with history , heritage and whatever small time ownership we can attract and settle for lower league football

    Or

We take this opportunity and lose many things we have grown up with but have a chance of sustainable championship football and possibly higher .

The choice is everyone's to make .

SBRed. I'm opening up a new business in sales. I want to employ you as supervisor on £4.50 ph. You would be employed on a 20 year contract with no chance of promotion.

I've been impressed by your sterling success and ambition when selling the plus points of a successful non - takeover of Barnsley F.C.

As yet throughout all the threads I fail to find a viable alternative from you after mother nature takes it's toll.

Do I care for full on capitalism , do I fuq , give me fairness and social democracy and I'm on it .

    Problem .

Principles and fairness whether in football or life are all well and good but you need a majority of people who all share that view or you are pyssing on your own against the wind .

If the rest of the footballing world were up for history , self sufficiency and heritage then all well and good , now you have a chance .

Truth is nobody gives a feck just as long as their club gets to compete succesfully and to feck with anybody else .

The most principled club in league two doesn't do it for me , as shallow as it may appear and I can understand that allegation , it just doesn't , fecking pointless to me after the work started by Ernest Dennis , Allan Clarke , Norman Hunter , Norm , Eric Winstanley , John Dennis , Danny Wilson and Patrick himself .

Show me a way in this day and age to keep your heritage , self sufficiency and history on a small budget in the championship and compete and I'll shake your hand .

    Me neither .

Why would they spend £40-£50m building a new stadium? The land wouldn't be worth that so he'd be out of pocket straight away

Huddersfield managed it fairly well last season. Brentford have managed it for 3 seasons and they're a smaller club than us. It's not impossible.

Nar the possibility or should i say probability of the club going bankrupt and being liquidated so we can 'compete' in this modern day football malarkey is a he'll of a price to pay for trying to be stylish.

It's all a bit short sighted for me. The club is run on good principles at the minute. Summat we should be proud of. If a group of fans is able to take the decision making on and continue the work started by Cryne then I'm content with that. That was always Crynes plan and a viable option if this takeover is ballax.

For the record I'm not opposed to this Chinese takeover either. I'll listen to what they have to say if owt ever happens.

Just for balance Dean Hoyle pumped £40m into Huddersfield over the last 6 years and these were shown as debts to Hoyle and the club was losing about £7m a year. Plus a £40m newish stadium

Brentford owner has spent about £90m on Brentford to keep them going at this level and are planning for a new £70m stadium

They're both similar size clubs to us but with much wealthier owners who bankroll them
