    No guard on trains?

The Docklands Light Raikway doesn’t even have drivers.

Technology will move on until there’s a time when drivers won’t be necessary even on main line trains.
And dumps the problem right onto the government who have to provide welfare funded by you and me or take a lower paid job that then harms the economy .

    Progress indeed .

Very true, and many of those that take the lower paid jobs are not interested in Unions, but the Labour Party still thinks EU citizens from eastern european countries are ok to work in these sectors.

It isn't a coincidence that net migration for the UK falls at the same time as the number of zero hours jobs falls.

They're not interested in unions because they havent been in a union culture before, work to do by the unions obviously.

I'd love you to tell me where the Labour party thinks EU citizens are ok to work in these sectors, your bigotry getting sway over common sense once more on that one i'm afraid.

You talk about zero hour jobs as though only jonny foreigner actually has to suffer them, far far from it i'm afraid, there's thousands upon thousands of British people going through the same thing, day in day out, wondering whether they'll work the next day, whether they'll get a text of the agency telling them they're not required the next day, getting sent home early even when on shift, not required, scared to death of being ill, no sick pay, no benefits to speak of, i'm sure you'll be absolutely appalled that that is happening today, to British people, but you're happy for it to happen to jonny foreigner....pathetic.

Absolute tosh! The Labour Party is the only party that has highlighted, as part of the Brexit debate, the exploitation of migrant workers cynically recruited by companies specifically because they can undercut UK workers on wages and rights.

By and large, immigrant workers add value to the economy by filling skills gaps and contributing earnings towards the society. However, uncontrolled, deregulated capitalism will lead companies to maximise profits/remain competitive by exploiting such 'opportunities' - thus unquestionably lots of companies recruit low skilled workers who arrive here to undercut the UK workforce. the Labour Party have clearly highlighted and opposed this. The only party that has to my knowledge.

Sadly, the Brexit debate focused the 'UKIP voters' to 'turn tory' as they believed that the Tories would actually do something about immigration, when they, the party of deregulated capitalism, are its primary cause. Yet you continue to support the Tories and attack Labour. How come??
