If not, and I don't recall your slating those players or their clubs, then it is perfectly natural that Rams fans view your righteous behaviour as little more than mischief making. If you did slate all those other players and other clubs then you may hold your head high.

I would add that DCFC left both drivers out of the Birmingham game. Other players have been selected immediately by their clubs....... and yes, I wouldn't have played them until after the court case but that isn't my decision.
Actually, I was and would be again.

If a teacher was found with child **** on their computer.
    How would you proceed?

Carry on teaching until you are convicted?
Suspend them perhaps, whilst the law does its job?

I think you know the answer to that.
The morons in the cars is one thing. But a football club carrying on like nothing has happened?
    Lunacy.

You love having a go at DCFC, that’s the top and bottom of it.
There are plenty of other footballers and managers who’ve been in the same situation, or worse, and there’s never been a word from you, but all of a sudden...because it’s two Derby players, it’s suddenly a perfect example of ‘pampering footballers and their prima donna status’.

I don’t know of any Derby fan on here who has defended the individuals concerned but equally, and for the final time, it is not up to any of us or the club to pass judgement...it is up to the Courts.

Lastly...I don’t even begin to understand your point about ‘would I be so soft if it was a policeman, fireman, nurse, forces official’? Firstly I’m not being ‘soft’ and secondly I’d have exactly the same attitude towards whoever was concerned in a similar situation...I wouldn’t be judging them until I was sure of all the facts.

Not sure if you just live in an entirely black and white world where everything is neatly compartmentalised and there is no concept of any sort of moral maze or if you just get off on adopting the high moral ground that goes with someone who is so bloody perfect.
No you are quite right it isn't

But not one word has passed your lips, deploring the whole situation or being enraged by what DCFC has done.
Before you say it, the same applies to the other arsey clubs who have done the same thing.

    Yes they are prima donas.
seeing as it's a common connection. How do you think Clough would have handled it?

You may all be absolutely right...I’m just sick of the hysterical and hypocritical rantings of Tricky who’s real motivation is there for all to see.
I'm not prejudging anything, but the situation is at best a breach of club discipline and should be reflected in the contracts of the players, even if it isn't knowing more than a little about employment law, suspension on full pay is a normal course of action in situations where employees are under investigation for an alleged disciplinary offence.

So for me this is a cynical act by DCFC to include them in the squad and allow them to play which is IMO disgraceful and whilst I'm not naive enough not to understand that financial interests underpin the decision, that doesn't make it right and frankly were either missed on Saturday? This is one case where I say bugger the consequences on the pitch, as the players should not play until the matter is resolved, if only to show fans and other players, especially those younger ones that such behaviour is not acceptable no matter who you are and how "important" you may be.

For me the club have got this badly wrong.

Absolutely not. The teacher is a possible danger to the children in his/her care and the children shouldn't be put in harm's way so you suspend the teacher on full pay so he can't influence (or worse) children during the course off his duties.

When training or playing a player awaiting a DD trial isn't going to force alcohol down the throat of a teammate or an opponent...... As I said, I wouldn't play either of them but I have no idea what the full reasoning of DCFC is so can't comment on that.

Quite right. I know that example is an extreme, but following RA analogy, you're innocent till found guilty. There was nothing wrong in playing them?
I'm sorry, that's not true. The club was brought into disrepute and they should have been removed until after the court case.
It was the only decent and respectful thing to do.
The club has this badly wrong for me.
The players themselves, well what's done is done. They have to answer for it. But DCFC had handled it very well until that last game.
Now they have undermined every piece of public opinion going.

Read the comments here. Very passionate some of the folks here.

Absolute tripe...again. ‘Not one word has passed your (my) lips deploring the whole situation...’. Oh really?

Have a wild guess at who said...’personally I can’t remember ever feeling so despondent about matters surrounding DCFC’.

Or...’everyone associated with DCFC probably feels thoroughly let down and ashamed right now’.

Never let the facts get in the way of the bollux you peddle though do you Tricky?

As for what do I think Brian Clough would have done? Well there’s an irony...the guy, very sadly, virtually drank himself to death and put both his family and his friends through hell in the process. Great manager he may have been, but the facts are you have a stand and we have a statue dedicated to a chronic alcoholic. Have a read about how Roy McFarland and Barbara Clough tried to get the guy to stop drinking. What do I think Clough would have done about it? I honestly don’t know...but I think you’d be very unwise to hold him up as an example to either Morris or Cocu in these particular circumstances.

Anag your wasting your time debating anything with this self righteous prick, he can't even remember his blatantly racist and xenophobic posts on the Brexit thread.

That being said, the club should not have the players in the team until the matter has been resolved.

Still waiting for the proof of that.

But don't let a good remainiac put down stop you.
If I am blatently racist, then I would be banned. But what goes on in your head, is akin to Dianne Abbotts world of algebra.

Unlike you a prick is useful. IT ALSO HAS A MIND OF IT'S OWN, BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR
