I would have thought the idea of a private message was hinted at in the word 'private'.

Obviously not everyone sees it that way.

... to get back to the topic, I'm afraid to say to the loyal NI, it's time to look forward and address the reality that eventually NI will join up with Eire. There will be a majority that cannot be ignored for this to happen and what better way to do this initially with economic unity via the Boris Brexit. Many proddies may wish to return to their roots in Scotland; as an alternative I would welcome any who wish to come here/mainland ... at least they would be legitimate entrants. I see the extremists are beginning to come out again ... the Good Friday 'Agreement' was never that ; it was always a truce.

Boris had private meetings with Corbyn yesterday and they both immediately went to the press to answer questions about possible progress (fat chance)....likewise the EU27 lining up to answer the press over their private discussions on any progress in the House......so I would answer that it depends on the nature of the matter being discussed and whether it was intended to remain secret ie a legal matter or a serious personal or medical matter.

mm explained to me that he had issues on here with being bullied in the past. I merely pointed out that it was a tad hypocritical to tag on after you "please can I join in with winding up Tarquin, with a smiley face".....of course, if it was just meant as a bit of fun and "lads banter" then I make my apologies, as I clearly didn´t get the joke.

Lastly, there are a few examples of people on here that have discussed PMs and given far more specifics than me (I´m pretty sure you have discussed one of your own in the past involving meeting someone that never showed up? I need to check my e-mails or go hunting through the MAD archives if you deny it.)....yet you rarely if ever criticise them or excuse yourself.....I wonder why?

Bloomin heck everyone needs to chill out on this thread. Sids post was too much, don't bring peoples families into it end of story. I do smile at the idea of Elite, Driller and Sid all hunched over a list of Mad posters deciding who next they're going to savage but I think it might just be in your head Tarkers.

I don't even know why you argue about politics anymore, it's been stated on here by a few people that everyone is entrenched in their views and won't change so all that ends up happening is people get mad. That's why I don't post on them anymore I used to be the worst for getting mad as there's nowhere to go in these discussions. Pre and post Brexit, deal or no deal, what's the betting that the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the gap widens ever more. All that's to be decided is the rate this happens.

If you're talking about the PM I sent your mate Vlad that is completely different. To cut a long story short he accused me of hiding behind a keyboard, so to prove him wrong I offered on the main board to meet him for a chat at any home game, and sent him my seat number via the PM facility so he would know where to find me. Therefore, I didn't divulge anything that hadn't already been said publicly, whereas you did. If it's not the Vlad thing and about something else, then search it out by all means. I'll be happy to respond.
