1 2 days late.
We tried polish . Both struggling with english, but set them on.
We had a rule 6 months training before eligible for bonus. Both demanded bonus straight away. Both got ****ed off.

We had an Asian guy transfer to Silverwood pit, underground, from I think Cortonwood he was called or liked to be called Nigel. This lad took some right stick from all miners and to his credit he gave it back, we're talking the late 80's early 90's. Only Asian chap I knew who ever ventured underground at our pit, a top lad!

Same in forces. Those who joined were very brave.
I was in barracks with a new recruit. Black lad very fit looking. Saw him putting his kit in his locker . And a few boxing trophies. He was knackered after travel from uk..
He apologised for being a bit rude.
2 hrs later the loical corporals (in those days)
Heard there was a new recruit..nothing to do with him being black. But thats what they did.
Came in the barracks . All the lights were off and they dragged him out of bed.
Bellam for a few seconds. One of the lads switched the lights on. Two corparals were splattered all over the floor. And george was snoring away.
He had no problems after that. 😁

Another day of 'riots' here yesterday, not a BLM protester or a black face in sight. Hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage, 12 police hospitalised and get this, 2, yes just TWO arrests. Not a word from the 'defund the police' supporters on the local council. Where's a decent mass shooter when you need one?
