Agreed - maybe Strujk can be the new White, although i missed the calm he used to bring.

Once we stopped giving the ball away and kicking it anywhere after the first 30 minutes, i thought we were mostly the better team, but definitely belong - and we'll give a lot of teams a very good game this season on this showing.

Agree we need a Pablo for when Pablo's not on it, like today, Koch needs time and coaching, and we need better luck - both pens and the block on Koch for the header were poor decisions in my opinion.

So really we won 3-1, cos all our goals were fantastic.

Hehe - indeed. Anyone notice when Ayling went down at the end and the ref stopped the game - he was trying not to laugh.

He seems to have taught Dallas and Harrison how to do the Ayling flop on the ball to win free kicks too.

He has a very very good game.

The good points for me (other than the ones already mentioned) were:
    1. Bielsa showed that he had a good plan to unsettle Liverpool. I can now be confident he probably has good plans for most of the other 18 teams.
    2. Meslier.
    3. How the team came back after going a goal down so early. Norwich conceded after 7 min last season. Lost 4-1.
    4. Bamford took one of his 2 chances.
    5. Costa and Harrison were good tonight and they weren't playing Dull city.

Feel the Udinese bloke or Wilson are quite important going forward, as Pablo was off the pace today as a starter.

Agreed, thought he was very good. Hope Bielsa sticks with him. Proud of the whole team tbh, I thought we were going to get a pants up bumming tonight but we didn't look to far behind them.

Agreed, but such a shame it was fet necessary to play Koch without any real preparation. F00king international games are a nightmare, should have been pre-arranged.
