If you want to read 3 agreeable posts per day, he probably does have a point. You know as well as I do what happened to a 'certain board' when all argument and dissent was suppressed, because you used to post on it. It was meant to become a really happy place where posters had great discussions and nobody fell out. It died a death in a matter of weeks.

This board is what it is, and it will never be right for some.

Nobody wants to suppress discussion or debate but carrying on petty arguments because people don't like each other gets rather tedious.
It seems that certain posters become like red rag to a bull to some and they feel the need to challenge them whatever the subject and have the last word.

It depends what people want. If they want an amiable board with 5 or 6 posts per day then CamPie is absolutely correct.

If you want a board with a wide exchange of opinions that are frequently not amiable, you won't get better than NCM.

Kettering v Leamington and Stamford v Hereford look interesting games (to be played on Tuesday).

It's all interesting to me. I know some would like us to be out of this competition, but we are in the last 16 as one of the highest ranking teams so are 3 games away from a Wembley final (if my maths are right). If the Covid situation allowed us to attend, that would go some way to make up for what we've had to suffer in terms of missing games.

Hopefully we can get some comments about the game, player perfomances etc. The victory is obviously good but performances are what interest me and others that didn't stream it.

I wish I could comment on the performance but my viewing was sheite....there wasn’t a lot of movement...but that was down to my poor streaming!

Agree with the Knowles comments though....give him a good run of starting because this lad is probably our most natural finisher!

Like you, I didn't stream the game (I only do it for home games), so can't comment on player performances. Talking of Knowles however, I did read these comments on another Notts site:

Knowles - Got a goal but did next to nothing else. Constantly loses the ball, but I see others thought he played well. I don't. Will battle Sam for a place on the bench. Apparently Nigel Clough was watching him in the stands and might recall him, not much of a loss for us if he does.

Positives included Knowles who pressed well and got himself a goal but tired late on.
