He is a huge fave of MM. Do we upset a team that looked pretty good today, or bench him , like we did to Edwards?

We might go back to 5 at the back for the seemingly big matches, but if Edwards goes back on the bench (like Watson)
    I might give up
i was gonna ask where has Connolly been? if we go on a run now it will be very similar to when Connolly was injured last season and Watson started playing and we went on a league winning run.

Reynolds should be the one going to the bench if anyone. He's gives me the f*cking fear every time he gets the ball. Ideally it's Edwards and one other next season. The one other not being Connolly or Reynolds.

Not many under performers today in what was an all round good team performance but out of the 3 centre backs it has to be Reynolds that should miss out, reads the game well enough but that's probably his experience carrying him but he's slow, not great in the air and his distribution is horrific......when he passes the ball he reminds me of the passes Darren Dods used to do when forced on to his wrong foot......but Reynolds seems to have 2 wrong feet.

Edwards was my motm today. But the whole team performance was good. When Chalmers comes back. If he gets anywhere near how he played before the injury McNulty will have to make way.

Thought Reynolds was quite good today with a solid player beside him.

See I hate that 'with a better player beside him' chat. We've had it so often over the years to cover up the sh*teness of the player in question. I'd just prefer us to have decent players who are decent regardless of who's beside them.

I thought Reynolds was ok today, at least you have balance of right footer/left footer with that pair. County were quite direct at times so opposition probably suited him. I'd persevere with McNulty, he wasn't great today but he does come wide and link up play a bit more with the likes of Fuchs/Pawlett/Smith, and that movement can create a bit more space for other players.

A good game from Pawlett today too, rare you get two in a row. Robson was a bit steadier, maybe helped having Sprole in front of him, but I have to say the amount of times Robson gets in a good crossing position and hits an absolute shocker is unreal.

He just looks scared of having time on the ball, like he can't wait to get rid of it which shows in his distribution half the time. You're Darren Dods comparison is so bang on. 😂

Agreed. If we had someone who could get into the positions he gets into AND was capable of delivering a cross we'd have so many more goals in the 'for' column.
