Ukraine hit inside Russian territory for the first time. Ballsy move but I guess they smell blood.

I know the propaganda machine is in full flow but certainly sounds like Putin is well in to a shoogly peg phase now. Europe has called his bluff on his demands to pay for gas in Rubles. More sanctions on the way and relentless talk of Russian soldiers loosing faith. Shirley only a matter of time?

I'd like to think there was people in the background over there that would not let that happen. Maybe he'd be quite happy with mutually assured destruction but I'd hope there would be others with a bit of clout that wouldn't be so keen.

Biden might fall asleep on his, Trump doesn't bear thinking about.
The USA of course being the only country to have used and then threatened to use nuclear weapons.
But then us oldies have lived through all this before.

Before you know where you are we might go back to the days when the Westminster government thought nuclear power stations were a good idea. ( Nah, I've taken that too far)

I don't suppose there is. The fact remains that there is a man who appears to be a grade A psychopath and has direct access to nuclear weapons.

As much as Trump is similar, he was an emasculated narcissist who had influence but ultimately nowhere near the control that Putin does.

I think we are nearing Putin's endpoint for better or worse.
