I agree, I find it quite mind boggling that some folk don't rate him to be honest. Depending on player fitness I wouldn't mind seeing him back in midfield on Tuesday.

I doubted if he could play the role as well as we need him to but he's done very well the last few games. The fact he's comfortable with the ball at his feet as a midfielder definitely helps when he's playing centre half. If he keeps this up then I'd be happy with him as our backup. The problem with him in defence however, is we're now two combative midfielders short with Fuchs away, so we need to rectify that issue or sign another centre half. We can't rely on Butcher to cover both positions.

Looks like Mulgrew is definitely out. We're having to send him to a specialist. Edwards is determined to play, as is McMann.

Seemed to be able to take a throw-in that wasn't 4 yards to the nearest player aswell!! Our throw-ins have been woeful the last few games.

I've often wondered why we don't employ the long throw in into the box that seems effective for other teams. We really should coach someone to this effect

Me too. We need to replace Fuchs with a like for like though or The Butch will be back in midfield and we'll be back to the mediocrity in that area that we've been witnessing for most of the season. In saying that I wouldn't mind him playing CM on Tuesday unless we can get a new signing in.

Thought graham did well yesterday. Didnt realise how tall he was. I dnt get the hype surrounding levitt. He’s definitely not in there to win a challenge. He can pass a ball (side ways and back) and try’s to move it forwards at times but not many of those passes come off. With Fuchs gone we need butch in there to help brake up play, although I think he has been outstanding the past 2 games at the back. Our midfield and final third still remain a major issue. We cld have played all day yesterday and never trouble them at that the back. McNulty brought nothing to the game when he came on. Lots of needless running and the occasional foul. Hopefully a midfielder and someone up top who can carry the ball and cause problems in tomorrow 🤞

The Butch is good enough in midfield too as we saw before his injury, he was excellent in the win over Sevco and win in Perth and in the Championship derbies he was the main man

A word on how Tam sets us up against the old firm, apart from the home game with Celtic where our form, confidence and line up was just not right and they caught us on a good day for them

The win over Sevco at home and in Glasgow 1-1 with Celtic 0-1 Ibrox with a makeshift team, 0-1 at Celtic with a makeshift defencs, that's aggregate 1-3 in Glasgow vs the uglies

Compared to last season 4-0 3-0 4-1 defeats in Glasgow, without crowds too

Some teams get trounced 6-0 this season in a single game and embarrass themselves

Agreed. Big credit to Tam for the game plan and to the players for executing it every time we've been in Glasgow.
