Unless there's some serious investment or identification of malleable talent either within or outside of the club in the summer, I'm wondering how well we would likely fare next season even if we did somehow manage to avoid the drop.

I guess the positives were that Joffy and Bamford got some limited game time, but they can't do anything without decent service, which seems to have dried up (maybe Harrison should've been left on longer?).

I suppose the other games on the night "sort of" went in our favour, but they didn't involve Burnley, Everton or Brentford.

    Tough few months ahead...

Norwich a Cup final now.. has to be the worst passing performance I've ever seen from a Leeds team, is that the players lack of confidence in themselves or their believe in the manager? The players need to look at themselves shocking lack of fight for the shirt, Bielsa proect was brilliant but had started to nosedive, this likeable guy.... reminds me of the salt and pepper fella

A hell of a lot of booing this evening. PS. Firpo was grim. Raphinha not happy at fans giving him stick. He'll definitely be gone.

How anyone at this stage can point any finger at JM is beyond belief, all I hear from Leeds fans is how great our previous gaffer was brilliant at developing ayling cooper bamford dallas, he's done a great job with James, Harrison, super rodrigo, Koch, llorente and plenty of others.
You could see pre season we where not right and with a full squad for the first few games.
Being Conservative we are at least 5 points where we should be, anyone thinks Everton twice ,newcastle twice, Brentford, Southampton,Brighton, Burnley twice, wolves, man utd twice..
Anyone think 9 points against that lot is a good return, I'm sure I've missed others.
You could argue we are to late giving MB the bullet, missed out on Howe ,Gerrard.
But all that is history, the maths tell me Norwich Watford Brighton Brentford is 12 points,
Palace wolves Southampton Chelsea City arsenal 2 or 3 points if possible, if we get that we are safe no doubt, 10 or 11 points, I think we should be safe by the skin of our teeth, 6 7 or 8 we are down. So for me JM has the run in to get us staying in the league. If we go down or in 4/5 weeks it looks we are doomed I will be first to say its a disaster of an appointment.
Similar to the yank at swasnsea Bob somebody I remember..
The picture I want to see all over the press if we go down is that of ORTA giving it the big un at Derby, pair of binoculars and waving a red bloody tea cloth, that being a nobody director of football.
Who ever is to blame for James 28 mill, super Rod 28 mill, Costa 15 mill, llorente 22 mill, Koch 18 mill, raph at 17 mill is looking like a liability but OK we will make money on him.
Not far up the road we could have got Bowen for 15 million and less wages...
Most of my blame will go on our recruitment if we go down, Bielsa for leaving us 5 points short, and Jesse as in my honestly view who will have had the time and games to get us out.
I thought 3 points was what we would get out of villa and Norwich, sun is must win nothing else simple, can't comment on last night did not see any of it..
Still 50/50 I would not swap our run in with Brentford or Everton

A note on our recruitment, don't forget that over weight fat thing we may have to pay up for yet, cannot remember his name, we could be talking the full 20 mill yet...
Who ever is responsible for that needs to give us the money back
