No wonder I have problems with people guessing the wrong artists, especially in the 1960s and early 70s when it was common to have so many 'cover' versions. I think my Mum must have had a VD album that featured this song because it was almost a soundtrack to my childhood days.

The big question, CAM, is whether you're going to have enough of these Mega Poptastic Pop Quizzes to see us through the off season...

...or at least until we start arguing about how the rules need to be changed for Brin's weekly Prediction competition. (That usually occupies a a good few days!)

I think I have plenty of material. The key is to make them teasing but gettable. Most of the songs I'm using now (maybe 75%) I've already used before but as I've kept a record of all the quizzes I'm careful to not use the same lyrics twice.

It's prepped and ready to go Lincs. Won't post it at the weekend as I'm not online much to check answers etc. The question is, who's expertise will the year suit? Surely I wouldn't be cruel enough to stray into the 2000s! Not likely as I want the quiz to end before we get into the Premiership

If you make it post 2000 you’ll have to allow googling. It’ll be voyage of discovery for most of us…
