I think that was a bit of an issue last season, but with 3 big centre halves and siegrist commanding we were almost like bring it on,happy for teams to attack us that way.

Good points there, but i wonder how many goals were conceded coming from balls in from the wings. Most of my memories are of most goals came from shots created within, if not the width of the goals, but the width of the 18 yard box.

Would definitely be interesting to see analysis on this.
My recollection is that we were most defensively sound in a 352 when the much maligned Niskanen played in front of McMann and Smith in front of Freeman. Could be age playing tricks there.
Ross lined us up 433 with a rusty McGrath hopeless Harkes and limping Levitt as the middle 3, no wonder he got his jotters.

Although the team that destroyed Hibs at Easter Road looks like it was a back 4

The full backs have been poor for a long time. Even if not scoring from the cross itself the strength and balance of the midfield more often than not never manages to get the loose ball. When they do the game is then slowed down again to walking pace.

If there is any truth in that then I agree with you. In fact the authorities will have something to say about it too meaning you wouldn't need to watch them play for us either.

However, it does sound like *******s.
