Stallard was never in a promoted team with us.
cant speak for other teams but for Notts , , when we were promoted Gary Jones scored 28 goals, hughes 31 goals , and Tommy Johsons goals helped us gain 2 successive promotions to the top flight , so for Notts having a prolific striker is absolutely essential, and has always been necessary when we have been promoted

For those that have seen the last few games what has been the difference since we played Chesterfield and gateshead? Were chesterfield just much better than the teams we have faced since or have we really upped our game?
Wasn't there today but we are playing two up and from nowhere we seem to have a midfield that looks strong and a defence that can keep a clean sheet.
Got to give LW a lot of credit, he's made us so much better off the ball, closing down and competing all over the pitch.

Great to see Villa get their equaliser and push the redbacks down another place in the table. Bless.

A 5-0 win for Leicester at Brighton tomorrow isn't likely but you never know...

I was looking at the Prem table for 3 teams who I thought might finish below Forest, it's gonna be tough for them 130,000,000 Mill or not.

A one goal win would be enough.

I was thinking of the GD/GS to put the redbacks bottom but forgot about the 'minus' bit haha. Currently 2-2 at half time.

For me it's like night and day compared to last season. Under Burchnall we allowed other teams to play and didn't appear to have the energy to make them work hard. We now have a completely different approach which seems to be paying off. It's also exactly what I've seen in the teams that have won the division.
