"The Tories haven't been great in difficult circumstances"! They were poor in normal circumstances (pre-Covid), and have been worse ever since. They have been an utterly corrupt and divided party since the day Boris Johnson was elected. It doesn't really matter if Labour are the answer, I think now that there is conclusive proof that the Tories aren't the answer.

I think it does matter if they are the answer, because they aren't! None of the fekkers are (of any party! (probably unfair to lump them all in the same barrel because I am sure there are a few good apples in there somewhere.))
Where are the political giants these days?

Anybody sensible surely wouldn't go into politics. I've never felt so despondent about the future of this country. The population is undereducated with too many being illeterate and inumerate. They have powerful tools in their hands that they don't understand, namely smartphones, computer systems. Self service managers (NHS) who would rather protect their reputation than do what they are paid far, but then they don't understand the systems or business that that purport to manage. Fame and a platform for being on Love Island or I'm A Celebtrity to the extent that even politicians partake. We've lost our national identity. We can see how much better our beloved side is now that it is creating an identity of its own rather than being the fanciful plaything of an attention seeking owner and then we have Suella (straight out of Dallas) Braverman daring to say multiculturism isn't working - well, she's right isn't she, just look at this lot:

I just don't see there is anyone now who can see a way forward to deal with the many serious issues that need to be dealt with.

I canvassed for the Labour party, voted for them after the Iraq war because I never believed they'd lie and send our troops to their deaths on a lie. Combined with the expenses scandal it finished me. Blair, Brown and Campbell collectively killed my trust in the state. Having watched them all to try to reverse Brexit followed by ridiculous, intrusive and plain unjust rules over Covid I've grown to despise them all.
Blair set the tone for what came after and we're all the poorer for it.
So, I would say they were at least as bad as the current shower.

I think the Reform Party needs to be given a chance to see if they are just full of hot air to or not. The rest of them are just WEF puppets.

"Reform UK is a right-wing populist political party in the United Kingdom. It was founded with support from Nigel Farage in November 2018 as the Brexit Party, advocating hard Euroscepticism and a no-deal Brexit".

And they need to be "given a chance"?????

You are the gift that keeps on giving.

Given the country has absolutely no interest in electing them, how do you think they should be installed into power, and do you think they should ever be removed once in power?

To be fair there’s a massive ‘open goal’ now waiting for a middle of the road party (with a common sense approach) to come in and mop up, for the minority ‘vocal’ (like on here) I think there is a balanced proportion of the population that sees through all the bias on all sides and will do the right thing for the country, I remember the last election when one of Labour’s desperate proposed policies was ‘free internet for all’, fortunately people see through the desperation.
