Tickets for Sunday's final sold out in just seconds when they went on sale this morning, so the club started selling tickets for the MLSB too. They also sold out. These Euros are doing Notts cashflow some serious favours! There are even fake scam X accounts popping up offering tickets like they do for big concerts etc.!

I never thought Notts would be selling out faster than Glastonbury did! Brilliant stuff. Hats off to JP and the club.

Clicked again yesterday and it said sold out. That's pretty impressive considering the capacity (600 people?)

So great for Notts but problem for me is I am coming back to Nottingham on Tuesday and Wednesday with Italian girlfriend who has become a Notts fan and had set her heart on watching the match at the Nest. Last time we were there I promised her great atmosphere for the final day of an Ashes test and there was me and one other guy watching it in a corner in what used to be Walkabout bar. There were more people watching Formula One on the big screen! She got bored and went shopping, which is fair enough.

So I need to come up with the goods this time. I suppose the most important thing is atmosphere. Decent food and beer and no flying drinks is just a bonus for me. She just wants to see England fans in their natural habitat. Any suggestions appreciated!

England fans in their natural habitat? What about taking her to a zoo?

King Billy in Sneinton usually has the footy on & is a cracking pub. I've also watched a few games in The Sherwood (in Sherwood funnily enough), and it definitely has a very English feel to it!

Excellent. Thanks Salty and Elite for the suggestions!

Yeah I watched an England game in The Sherwood many years ago, could be a good place to throw her in at the deep end!

Hi Driller, I have a couple of spares for the Big Shed at Trent Navi for Wednesday if you want them at face value? They were £10+£1 booking fee each. DM me if you are interested.

Unfortunately, the more I explain that to her the more she wants to experience it.
