Was nice of the BBC to have Farage on again with a sunshine drenched Clacton Pier as his backdrop.

My mum would turn in her grave from if she read the stuff from the working class tories on here.

In simple terms the tories are for big business and the bosses they are not interested in the average bloke on the street. Labour toe the line for big business because in a capitalist world they can do little else. They do throw a few scraps to the downtrodden though unlike the tories.

Farage is an extreme right wing lunatic who preys on people's ignorance about race. He appeals to the most stupid and ill informed people in society.

Take it or leave it but that's it in a broad nutshell.

And you think a London centric millionaire barrister will do things differently?

Sorry can we just work this through...fine Starmer isn't from the North, but his parents did working/middle class jobs, he did well at school, didn't have his parents pay for school fees, was consistently Labour/left from a young age, and got a good job in a profession that might typically have been dominated by people from a wealthier background (and people rightfully complain if people from a less affluent upbringing are kept out of those roles), and he had a career before politics where he encountered and represented a wide range of people, which happened to be based in London...not quite so sure what's wrong with that or what he should have done instead?

NB North London is very far from being exclusively rich people

Whilst I wouldn't suggest there aren't people in and around the elected tranche of the local authority, the size and complexity of the operation (and others around the country) points to a good deal more people who should have done a hell of a lot more. Politicising it doesn't just give undeserved credence to opportunistic opponents of Labour members, it also shines the light away from a number of others who should be anywhere between living with endless shame, and staring at a cell wall.

I believe that Angela Raynor will replace KS sometime in the next term.
So any potential Labour voters might want to consider whether they would want her as Prime Minister acting on behalf of this country on the world stage and domestically. Unfortunately that’s completely unacceptable to me.

I’d like to vote Labour this time but I’m really reluctant to do so for far too many reasons

I’d much prefer a true working class northerner with real life experiences as pm than a London lawyer.
