Well, what a mess the weather made of this weekend's PL

No Shows: A full card so thumbs up for that. I don't count the Froglet as he just dips in and out on a whim.

Weekly winner(s): There were only 14 points up for grabs in total. It was all down to the last game as several were waiting on their Home/Draw predictions. It ended Man Utd 2-3 Notts Forest so that meant yours truly was the only winner on 9 normal points and about time too! A good challenge came from GlennMiller, HK Miller, Millerstale and UlleyMiller who all scored 8 points but I for once bag the bonus 5 points.

Joker(s) played: x 3 played and very unlucky to the players what with 3 games cancelled. Adventus doubled up his 6 to 12 points. Bramley achieved 4=8 and finally MillersTale came out with the best with his 8=16.

Predict a Score: As it was a rollover 6 points were up for grabs as the score finished Weds 1 v 1 Preston. There were 4 winners as follows: Ulley, HK Miller, Millersrus and YAK. Well done you four.

Wooden Spoon(s): Low scores all round so it was well up for grabs. Grist came in with a score of 4 points but he was okay, as along came both Avondale and Ronners who only scored 2 points. Cayton must be thinking it's him but not this time . It was actually ELK who only scored a solitary point so the spoon is all his this weekend. Hard luck pal.

We now have everyone through the 100 barrier as Millerstale scoring a good 16 points and Cayton bagging 7 points get themselves both over the line, well done fellas.

HK Miller is still joined by UlleyMiller at the top of the table, as they both scored an identical 8 points and as we see, they both bagged 6 points from the Predict a Score, well done you two. With both Avondale and Ronners only scoring 2 points, this has allowed CT Milller to move up to 3rd spot. With MillersTale playing his Joker, he has marginally but Cayton at the foot of the table.

A full set of fixtures were played so let's have a look at what happened.

No Shows: Another full card so well done everyone for that.

Weekly winner(s): Although there were 20 points up for grabs, only two managed normal double figures while a lot, heavily relied on their Predict a score win/Jokers to bail them out. Millersrus delivered 11 points but it wasn't enough to see off Millerstale with 12 points to give him 17 points overall, well done for that.

Joker(s) played: x 3 played and these are the results; Ackworth scored 6, 3 normal and 3 PAS = 12. Harpo88 scored 4 =8 and finally HK Miller who scored 3=6. That now only leaves Lol Morgan to play his this coming Saturday.

Predict a Score: Final score was Covertry 2v 1 Hull. Many benefitted from this to help boost their score. In no particular order;
Bramley, ELK, Glenn, Avondale, Millersrus, Ronners, CAM, Lol, Ackworth and pipppy all bagged 3 points.

Wooden Spoon(s): Mine all mine......or so I thought until I saw YAK join me on 4 points and suddenly I wasn't alone. Hang on though,
who's this throwing their names into the hat to claim a spoon? Saving our bacon, so to speak, was none other than Cayton, Nardendee and Ulley, who all took pity on us by only scoring 3 points so claimed a spoon each. Thanks chaps they're all yours

Even though with HK Miller and Ulley Miller not scoring so well this time around, they still head the table with a good margin between 3rd spot now held by Avondale Miller. Indeed it's all very close around the top with only 5 points separating 3rd to the 10th position.

Meanwhile, MillersTale bags the weekly win leaving Cayton floundering at the foot of the table trying to stave off relegation.

The results are in so here we go to see who scored what.

No Shows: Great support from everyone as we saw another full card, thank you.

Weekly winner(s): Not a good weekend at all as what we thought were bankers turned out to be ...not very good.
It was a low total on offer, 17 points, and only two of you hit normal double digits. So, the fanfare is played for Bramley Miller 58 and Harpo88 as they both scored 10 points. Well done chaps.

Joker(s) played: x 1 as Lol Morgan finally planted his down and, not to great effect as he only bagged 3 points therefore doubling it up to 6. You can from the 1st January 2025, play your second Joker. I know a lot leave it til late but, it's yours to use as and when you wish to do so.

Predict a Score: Final score was Leeds 4 v 0 Oxford. No particular order as ELK, Harpo88, MillersTale, Nardendee and myself
grabbed the bonus points on this result.

Weekly winner(s): What a poor return today and probably the lowest of scores to clinch the weekly win and bonus points - a big round of applause goes overseas to CAMiller with his score of 8 normal points giving him 13 points overall, well done Sir.

Predict a Score: There were no winners as the fog got the game postponed betweem Tranmere v Accrington. Shame they didn't call our game off for the same issues today

Wooden Spoon(s): I said it was low scoring and there was a crux of you who take a spoon each this Boxing Day.
