A class act from a class guy.
Yes he did have a very good game, but the opposition was very poor.. Pity him and Crowley couldn't produce that form against Walsall.

Had to laugh at that Durham, although true it's pretty cheerless, ha ha
Someone told me years ago that it's important to enjoy victories when they come along

We always seem to excel against the poorer teams...Probably because we are not has good as some think we are.

If Walsall hadn't improved vastly for the second half, would you have been saying "but the opposition was very poor" about them? If Notts play well for most of a match, typically that means they have made the opposition look very poor. That usually means that Notts players have played well, not that the opposition are no-hopers.

He was being man marked by their No18 first half but he was taken off at half time I guess to then try and chase the game.

Anyway, I have watched it now and Crowley played a great pass inside the full back in the build up to the first goal, a pass I have not seen used for ages. Abbots turn and pass to McG for the second was wonderful.

Crowley played that pass many times when Nemane was playing but Austin isn't as quick as him so it's not always on.

McGoldrick was poor against Walsall no doubt looked slow and ineffevtive but I thought Crowley was excellent in that first half before he and the whole significantly dropped off. Both were impressive against MK who are a decent side.

We are as good as our league position same for every club. From what I have seen we look a top 7 side but not a top 3 side with the players available to the coach. We should see a noticeable improvement on last seasons finish.
