Maynard tactically inept against yet another superior manager. I was pleasantly surprised at our first half display, it was only down to yet more profligacy that we weren't ahead. Yet we reverted back to type in the second half, completely lost control and momentum of the game, lacked any sort of spark, and still, Maynard had no answer at all.

The sooner a change is made the better.

Good performance in first half, followed by another training session performance in the second half. Soft tactics, soft players and totally lightweight.

Chesterfield just show you what can be achieved with a bunch of very average players who are up for a fight.

We're about to throw away the best opportunity to get promoted you could ask for. This league is crap, total crap yet I'm starting to think Notts will still be in it next season. Disgusting. Well done Chesterfield, just shows what can happen with a good manager.

Looking at our hard run-in of fixtures, you would have to say "That's it - just forget it for another year!"

But Notts will probably surprise us with an incredible win and then lose with more s*** performances like today.

It's all part of the master plan to ensure that we fans suffer to the absolute maximum degree.

Can someone please explain to me what game changing options we had on the bench cheap recruitment will ultimately cost us infact who actually has control of that now.

You need to accept they are not going to sack him and nor should they.

Take a look at results last few weeks nobody is 100% nailed on for anything.

My gut feeling is we not make top 3 but play offs anything can happen.

Colchester with Cowley are now the form team.

We can’t have this reaction after every defeat.

The time for reflection will come at the end of the season, but the bottom line is that we keep coming up a fraction short in all of the big games. We’ve improved from last season (given that we’ve already matched last season’s points tally), but are losing out when it comes to the fine margins. It would also help if we stopped giving such bad goals away in these tight games.

    Is this for real ?

We were up for the fight we missed our chances thats football and id say a draw would have been fair.

Doesnt matter what is fair its all about the result though.

Purring all game then two cockups by Platt (some peoples Player of The Year by the way) and bloody stupid comments are thrown around. Yes we missed a hatful but we played the fekkers off the park mostly. Pi55ed off as much as anyone but take a deep breathe.
