Another vote for GB coming back on!

Seems the daily figures are heading in the right direction again, just in time for it all to go wrong again after Easter! 400 new infections reported today, so fingers crossed we keep this heading in the right direction, and maybe aff shore will get his bloody pint to shut him up!

It was nothing to do with my illness or drink Brian however i had to go for a scope due to blood being found where it should not be.I make no excuses for anything i posted but not for the first time i would like to take this opportunity to apologise to TroonArab and Affshore.
I have not returned to that page on this thread and have no intention of doing so.What did happen on Monday is i was to say the least very worried about my impending appointment and made a complete erse of it,its as simple as that really.

For anyone that can read into my post above and has any understanding about the preparation and what happens after my procedure you need to fast and then avoid alcohol after it.
My answer to that was to go FN mental on the Monday,in my opinion that is fair enough and i reckon thousands of other patients have done the same.
What was not acceptable was me coming on here during my partaking of my weekly limit in one fateful evening and for that i am genuinely sorry. The last thing i have read was Troonarab saying he was FN off because of my reply and i hope he will reconsider because i have always championed posters on here who have either been banned or felt there is an agenda against them.
To be really honest which i always try to be on this board if Troon comes on here and says,"I'm back if you go", i will happily take my leave of Utd Mad and although a long standing poster i do fully respect the Mods on here and in no way think i cannot be banned or have any kind of seniority over ANY other member,FACT.

First off, good to see you back posting Gunboat!

You will all be glad to know that my main source of data is having a weekend off, so will be back on Tuesday with the weekly report.

Dose 1 (2,493,327) vaccination progress by age group. Dose 2 (399,062) reported as appropriate.
    Over 80s, 97.9% (97.8) – 39.4% (31.1)
    75-79, 100% - 12.5%
    70-74, 100%
    65-69, 98.2% (98.1)
    60-64, 99% (98.4)
    55-59, 85.5% (82.9) SG target achieved.
    50-54, 63% (59.9)
    40-49, 32.4% (31.4)
    30-39, 23% (22.3)
    16-29, 14.8% (14.2)

Lots to be positive about this week with daily infections in decline and the 3rd vaccine reported to be here as soon as next week, which can only be a good thing with other vaccine supply issues.

I think that shows how opening the borders can be so dangerous which has allowed the Kent and Brazil variants into Chile!

Back here though, we have got daily infections down into the low 400s, now administered 2,515,748 first, and 414,540 second doses and should soon see 3m in total! I just hope that Boris is looking at what is happening elsewhere before he lets us out to travel!

What worries me is the lax attitude of one of the UK nations with their backbenchers putting their leader under huge pressure to get everything open.
I honestly am not trying to be political but unfortunately there are MP's and MSP's who are funded by big business and they have to return the favour of the millions paid to them to keep the status quo.
To be honest i was staggered at how even some very elderly and vulnerable MP's are to declare the pandemic over, get everyone back in the office, factory etc and return to normal.
I would love that to happen BTW but their motives are to repay businesses that helped get them elected whereas i just want to see no more deaths UK wide,FACT.
