Hearts fear prolonged Championship stay if new Covid outbreak - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53940375
Hearts fear being in the Championship for more than one season if there's a new outbreak of Covid
Arrogant ****s think they already have the title secured otherwise according to this.
Hope they are down for ****ing years.
Love this bit -
"That has been a concern for Hearts when we were challenging the decision [to be relegated].
"There is a real concern that if things go wrong this year, we end up being stuck, not just for one season but for two seasons."
But it was okay for promotion winning by a 14 point margin Dundee United to have potentially been subjected to that?
A few words needing amended, fixed that for them,
"There is a real concern that if things go wrong this year, and we only win 4 games again, we end up being stuck where we deserve, not just for one season but for two seasons or more"
Just as Robbie is saying testing wont cause financial distress to Championship clubs. Raith announce a significant squad COVID outbreak and need to postpone a game.....
I find myself wondering what would happen if the Championship season got suspended now and couldnt restart? If they had a vote to finish the league (some way off that I know) just how would Nelms vote this time. How many mind changes would come?
If a COVID curtailed season granted us promotion but then somehow magically kept them down, just how would I feel? I suppose I would have to feel a bit sorry for them..........but suspect I would be pishing myself laughing so hard that I would forget to give a toss! Would please me greatly if a Raith Rovers outbreak did somehow threaten their waltz to the Championship title.
Watching this space with interestvrather than fear this time!
