Mich, I don't really know what Costa did to offend today. He took a battering all game from the Swansea backline, he kept his cool, generally, and scored two great goals. That's what real center forwards were like back in the day.

I think he could have arguably been given a second yellow for a dive in the second half. He's a player I find irritating from a personality standpoint, but I'd take him on my team over most forwards in the Prem. Maybe just Aguero and Ibra I'd rate above him. Originally Posted by WOODLANDSWOLF

Also, Balotelli scored a brace today for Nice against Marseilles. I know many don't care for him, but when he's playing well I think there are few that are more enjoyable to watch.

Everton lead 1-0 against Sunderland, Lukaku left on his own to head his side in front, poor from Sunderland, he also squandered a decent headed chance in the first half. Sunderland's best chance so far came in the first half for Defoe, but skied his effort. Everton are well on top in this second half in my opinion.

David Moyes has a big job on his hands at Sunderland, it's now 2-0, Lukaku with another header, again so much time to get on the end of Bolasie's cross.

Lukaku is on fire and so are Everton, 3-0 and there was no catching him as soon as the ball was played into his path. Sunderland look a total shambles at the back.

Don't know how Moyes is going to keep Sunderland up. It's going to be another long hard season for them.
