Hard to take a 4-3 defeat but reet proud of the performance, bodes well for the season ahead, I would imagine Klopp when sat alone thinks to himself "thank fck we don't have to play Leeds every week". MOT

Tyler Roberts not quite good enough for premier league. I know he was only in for a while but in that short time, he showed little composure. Dallas got really tired at the end defending the left wing.

Mb isn't a god like most like to think and makes mistakes like anyone. This one i stand by him playing Koch. Mistake was bringing on Roberts. Rod should have been on at that time and Bamf should not have come off.We had them on toast and eaten i felt the subs comming on we lost our style. Last ten minutes was a worry.

Very true. Cherry you would be stuffed to if you play the way we do but I love Dallas if I was picking a team he would be the first pick.
Hope to see him playing wing one day as that is what he is.

No problem with commitment & effort, defending still shambolic ( quality at set-pieces on show today ) although defence looked better in second half. Midfield needs some help, need a commanding CM, to support both defence and attack.
Need proper LB -Douglas?, Dallas needs to play further up in this league.
Still need CB / LB & DM, but overall good, solid start.

I think he will count himself lucky not to have seen the first defeat for Liverpool at home for a f00k of a long time.

Welcome to the crazy world of the premier league where all the top six teams get all the big decisions from those cheating Phookin refs.. Dodgy pens, free kicks etc ,offsides. They get them all. Get used to it..

Has anyone taken a good look at the 2 penalties? Just not sure at all about either. The ball does hit the hand so difficult to complain. But Rodrigo does appear to pull out for the second. Really not sure.

Bit unlucky pen that wasn’t a pen for the first, possible foul on Koch for the second.

Main thing was we competed and didn’t look out of our depth.

Some very good performances and a few players who will get better. Hope Bielsa works with KP on his tendency to needlessly give the ball away sometimes but his ball for Harrison’s first was quality.

Thought Koch and Struijk got better as the game went on just sometimes didn’t have enough protection in front of them. Great tackle/interception by Koch on the ball through to Firmino.
