Given the squad, i think we are about where we should expect to be, ive enjoyed watching almost every game so far, and you dont expect to say that given our league position. Its the next games that really matter for us, beat the other sides around us and all will be ok.
Totally agree with others that say we will have plenty of opportunity to watch shighte football next season, then some might appreciate what we had when Bielsa was here.
Absolutely - we have teams below us and a gap to 18th - not a lot more we can expect.

My thinking is each club plays to their strengths and are dictated by the other teams as to how they play. We allow teams to pump us A game style B we are not good enough to sustain it C players give it their all but as we know as much as they have improved overall they just can't find anymore. MBs philosophies are great but in reality, they are just not sustainable doesn't matter if we had a Liverpool or man city or a Chelsea squad. The reason he has failed at big clubs is just that they are big and players don't like to play his style.
Ive no real problem with "plan A, and if that fails, plan A again" Oz, think generally speaking we will win more than we lose playing this way, and it is good to watch, strangely, ive even enjoyed watching some of our defeats! could never say that before in my many years following our club.
The real issue for me has been recruitment. We did sign a few, but i thought the squad was woefully short last season, and we needed more. I knew Rodrigo and Rafa to be good players, so im happy with that, but it just seemed to me we were recruiting in the one area we had numbers. Defence was an obvious weakpoint, last season we had zero cover at CB, we lose White, so we needed at least 2, factor in injuries, and the fact Coops, well hes Leeds, but hes not Prem unfortunately, and anyone could see a couple of injuries would leave us well and truely f****d. CM also a huge issue for me, we dont have an "enforcer" type player and get overrun all too easy.Klich has been running on empty for 2 seasons now! and Phillips seems to be believing his own press these days.
We need to strengthen, in Jan, that said, i guess the object this year was to stay up, and i think we will achieve that much.

MB is stubborn wont change for anything.
You understand others concerns about losing but you still like to take Pot Shots.
You know this is a forum and what we say means naught but still find it in you to take pot shots.
Bottom line is everything you just said is what quiet a lot of us feel like and have been saying ohhhh and very sensibly written thank god.

Goes back to "we hate Man U/We hate Leeds" mantra and the mindset that kind of attitude creates. Throughout the game yesterday, there were comments by both commentators as to how this was a game of football they would pay good money to watch, unlike the sterile, stilted, nervous, boring, nondescript local derby between City and United the previous week. As a Leeds supporter I welcome the comments then, and since, shows that some of the pundits are prepared to exercise some grey matter when commenting, rather than trotting out predictable, stereotypical drivel that has been Skys stock-in-trade for way too long.

And as for wolves in sheeps clothing, Keane will never look like a sheep!
Bloody hell! agree with every word!

    Merry Christmas!!

not sure what there is to make merry about.? those on here who pretend to dislike each other exchange a few king words on the anniversary of this christian event (dates of which were conveniently stolen from pre existing Pagan ceremoninal days)then go back to their usual cr@p the next day.
Meanwhile, you, the great stinking proletatiat, are being right royaly shafted (and not just by Charles) by your own governments. After the "mutant virus" has passed and everyone gets on board with their "freedom passes" and vaccines. Work, freedom of thought, movement and speech will be taken away along with entertainment and the arts, all in the name of the rich getting richer at the expense of everyone elso who will live in an Orwellian communist serf utopia.

    Reasons to be chearful, part......

My friend, we have a saying here same sh-t different year. But as people, we all pretend to care where in reality we don't give a sh-t.
Like Leeds united and the way, you guys like this forum does get heated but exciting never the less
With my local football club, the same things happen in the forum everyone knows more than the other names been called so on. The only difference is here we have meetups before games and you know they are totally different people in person.
You have the likes that sort of pick up fights and then when it gets too much they cry leave me alone don't quote any of my posts. Also, have the likes picking on the other *** I suppose makes them feel macho.
Anyway, for their pleasure let them do what they enjoy doing.
As for you m8, I know with this virus it has been tough as I know inside how you feel as I'm the same where some days when I can't breathe I wish I was dead.
As for Christmas, it is just another day made bigger by billionaires to rack in more.
