you Carnt go saying things like that. Even if it is true.

The Millers are down. I hope you bounce back straight away. Good luck next season.
not fussed about fat boy but all the best for next season.

Gutted like most on here but i think we wouldn't have got auto promotion last season. May have through playoffs but thats a lottery. So my take on things is this season was a free hit,at least the increase in money given in the championship the extra tv money and fans paying to ifollow some of the loss in revenue has been eroded and where would we be if we were still in div 1.
So heads up millers lets enjoy a few weeks off then come back supporting our team in our stadium. There are many fans that would love to be going to football next season no matter what devision were in sadly they are in our memory but always millers

It's a lot more difficult these days to stay in the cship than under previous regimes.
SE had the luxury of being able to sign loan players for a longer period if things weren't going well and improvements were required or injury.
Take Mattock for example and the fact we've been playing virtually all season without a LB.
We were also limited by the squad size which compounds the issue
These issues are a significant disadvantage for teams like us and it's not surprising we've become Yo-yo FC

Famous words indeed, TS said" we didn't invest in the Jan window last time and it cost us relegation. We won't do that again"........................yeah, of course we won't............but we have.....again.

I agree. Im 53 and seen many promotions and relegations but this one is different. There is a far bigger issue at stake and that is 'going to the match again'.Wycombe fans have NEVER supported their team in the only season in the Championship.Liverpool fans never watched their team win AND lose the Premier League. This has been a 'false' season because it has missed what makes it.We would not have gone up without COVID and PPG never felt like a true promotion because it wasn't.

Good point jimmy. I dont think we would have got up last season if the season had bee concluded. We were in a bad run of form when Rochdale clonked us so this season was a bit if a free hit in the champ. We basically weren't ready for it and it showed.

you will get into trouble saying things like that. Even if they are true . You do realise we should be thankful and grateful.

no one can say for sure that we wouldn’t have been promoted if it wasn’t for Covid but I do know what you mean.

I’ve just got the Liverpool game on. Normally a terrific atmosphere. Unfortunately just another game without a soul.
You raise good points but the absence of a crowd cost us big time. 14 home defeats. We missed the extra man (the crowd) and I am sure we would have found the extra few percent to turn those losses into draws.
I don’t agree we weren’t good enough. We were one missed tackle away from glory. Fine margins indeed. We never seem to have the luck that other teams have.
Even the Derby game finished 10 minutes before ours so if we had held on whose to say there wouldn’t have been another Derby goal? Instead they just sat back. Can you imagine if it had been the other way around? If they had finished & we had 10 minutes to play knowing another goal would mean certain safety.

By the way is Barlaser injured? Surely he should have been on or brought on & certainly should be preferred over the Derby loanee. Ladapo also should have been on much earlier.

To cap this off just watch Ladapo end up at Derby.
