The official site did have a forum as I used to go on there before I discovered here. I think it went when the site was updated and all league clubs had to use a version of the same template site, therefore losing the autonomy they originally had over what features were on offer.

Think I stopped going on there after I joined here circa 2004.

Never understood how it worked or who was allowed access. I seem to remember that people (can't remember who) got upset when something on the mailing list was revealed on here.

Totally agree, my worry is I don't believe everyone can as sad as that sounds.

Swale's actions (& JOBs comments) should be trigger for positive change on here, let's wait and see.

I too also hope he has a re-think as he's been a fantastic moderator of NCM in my opinion and came in for some completely uncalled for attacks and unnecessary abuse for doing a voluntary job that most people wouldn't do if they were paid.

Fingers crossed those involved do use this as a chance to change (including myself) for the better.

Who knows if that happens he might just come back to a far easier and less time consuming moderator role
