First time we've not lost a televised away game since dropping into the 5th tier. Still not won away on TV in what will be 10 years in December.
Good point COYP
I think it was a good point, as i do not think many teams will get much at Wrexham this season, even Stallard said he is expecting them to steam roll a lot of teams there this season
So job done for Notts, now to beat the weaker teams, like Aldershot who are coming up next ..
Agree with the above comments re Slocombe - he's not been his usual composed self so far this season. Certainly appears to be having some communication issues.
Overall, I think we defended resolutely (goal aside) and would've 100% taken a point away at one of the toughest grounds in the league.
We'll certainly take it.
Not a bad performer in the team, although I thought the wing-backs were ordinary.
Francis is entitled to be disappointed coming off. He was OK and it was more of a tactical substitution. Very impressed with Palmer's improvement as the game went on.
Well late in the second half slocambe dropped the ball - is he a liability??
Good point tonight. A much better point than Saturday’s. Just a shame we couldn’t play Roberts and Rodrigues from the start as they would have posed more problems for Wrexham. We now have a run of games that are winnable. COYP’s
Well done Notts and Ian.
Great cross from Cameeon for the goal .
Brilliant header by Wooton.
Defended set pieces well in general.
Lots of positives.
Very difficult away game that. Wrexham's first home game in front of fans with new owners.
Brilliant
Solid point tonight. They covered the box well and cds should be happy. Rawlinson improved as game went on and Chicksen covered well enough.
Lightweight midfield will be out undoing.
I said Slocombe was an issue when it came to offering contracts. So far, sad to say, I was right. Hope he settles down and become Mr dependable.
Woots looking pure class.
They need a rest now.
Not harsh, just factual. He has dithered twice and it has cost us a goal twice, which is frustrating.
That said, a point away at Wrexham has to be considered a good result given their resources. The 'bad' point was the one on Saturday against a Torquay team who were more than beatable, as Woking and Altrincham have already proven.
Still, we're unbeaten after three games and aside from two goalkeeping errors our defence has looked fairly solid, which was the worry in pre-season. Plus, we should only get better as the new players continue to gel into the team. Every reason to be positive.
