Honestly Roly because when things get brushed under the carpet like the grooming incidents and how Racism is reported. There is a backlash to my family because of there skin colour.
So when imo you seem to have this blinkered view of nope the black are persecuted irrespective of the facts that is more damaging than Grists comments ever could be.

For what it’s worth I’ve argued with plenty of racist people. Problem now is there is a increasing resentment and frustration about what equal right are now. Anthony Joshua encouraged black people to only shop at black owners shops. That does my wife and children immense damage.
Grist could never do that damage.
Oh and I’m not calling Grist racist Roly you are.

The grooming thing was inexcusable of course but as you know yourself not all black people are groomers why should they be tarred with the same brush plus there are plenty of white groomers out there. Are they ok then because they are white?

As for your other comment about shop owners its tit for tat isnt it? Not the way forward for racial integration admitted but on a grand scale it is white owners who own most of the worlds wealth. Power relations again int it?

As for Grist, his comments don't exactly do owt to make things more fair because he doesn't challenge the status quo. If everyone had adopted Grists attitude to social injustice, in the past I would doubt if most of us would have a vote now and we would still be living in feudal communities with Lords and serfs.

He seems to like inequality. Must have some reason for it i suppose...
