we are back in the relegation battle unfortunately.
It's called irony, something the Aussies and Brits get, Yanks not so much.

What should have been (even the most blind could see that from recent events), but wasn't.

Should have recruited in the summer, maybe not spending millions, but the 2-3 players the squad badly needed, but no.
Would have been a damn lot easier also, rather than the difficult Jan window - but again the club fiddles & farts around, much like a certain prime minister.

What a letdown but let's face it, it's not the first and won't be the last. I thought me were a bit flat from the start and really can't remember one ball being passed into the box that we got on the end of. Would like to see the VAR decision after what went against us last week. Pet hate of mine is time wasting. People are paying big money to support these millionaires and they don't get value for money. The length of time it takes for throw ins, corners set pieces, injuries is ridiculous. They need to put a 20 or 30 second.time limit on them each time. I'd love to know how much time the ball was in play for today. And Trippier, he was stealing 10-15 yards on every throw-in, not a word said to him.

Perhaps today, they were under the impression they only had to turn up. Bit like spam last week.
    Poorly prepared.

Bit harsh but with a grain of truth.

He got more out of a middling squad than all others, gave that squad belief in themselves when others hadn't, gave that squad tactics and a level of fitness that gave them division-beating capability, and let them to championship promotion, not bad in such a short time.

He is however stupidly stubborn and capable of the most irrational team selection/substitutions. Hard to call what the real balance is (unlike our DoF, who must qualify as the biggest waste of space ever at LUFC &#128514

He is a football coach not a magician - if we don’t have a fully fit squad we often struggle when key players are out.
